I sat in this charming little bakery waiting to pickup my youngest from her tea party birthday party nearby.
I ordered a latte and a mini Peanut Butter Fudge Swirl cupcake. When I bit into it, it was incredibly moist and rich, with a filling that I didnβt notice when I ordered. As it turned out, a mini luscious chocolate cupcake was filled with peanut butter buttercream and topped with chocolate fudge frosting. All gone in 3 magical bites.
As I sat there, there was a never ending wave of people - families, young couples, girl friends, single men, grandma's grandpa's, elderly ladies dropping by. The line would reach the door. And after everyone leaves, the whole bakery would fill up again after 5 minutes. It seemed like THE neighborhood place.
I couldnβt resist more and ended up bringing home 9 perfect and beautiful minis.
We loved the Key Lime filled with key lime cream and frosted with key lime whipped cream and zest. They were custardy and tart and feathery light. The Marble tasted of rich chocolate and creamy vanilla. The quality of the ingredients were evident not at all sugary.
