Breads Bakery’s Chocolate Babka is out of this world. Once you have it, no other will compare. It is fluffy and soft but the braided top is full of crispy crunch. Rich, plentiful and addictive chocolate weaved through part of the babka.

Today we came to get one for a holiday party we were going. There are also so many other irresistible baked goods here. We couldn't leave without my favorite cheese sticks which is baked golden about 6 inches long and they are full of crunch and lightness.

Since I skipped lunch, I was excited to find their version of my favorite sabich here. It was served on their version of the pita which is more bread than pita. The bread reminded me of slim bread that we see in grocery stores with holes dotting the top. It was fresh and just out of oven, and filled with thick juicy slices of eggplant and perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. Surprisingly there were slices of delicately boiled potatoes which a quick research indicated that it is a typical way.

As we were almost ready to leave, we saw and smelled a cart full of tiers and tiers of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. We couldn't resist and got a huge (about 5 inches in diameter) cookie made of 3 different kind of chocolate chips - milk, dark and white.

We ended up with a huge hull for a simple goal of a chocolate babka for a party!
